It would seem that Jehovah truly is speeding up the work in his own time.
It’s certainly the case that news about the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has been coming in fast than we can report upon on it. Over the past few weeks a number of significant developments have taken place in various fields related to Watchtower. We’ve been seeing developments in areas such as child abuse, the selling of the Brooklyn properties, and other such areas.
So starting this week, we will be posting a News Bulletin article on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Each article will cover a specific news item, and we will keep going until we are completely up to date. The articles may be a little shorter than usual, will aim to convey the facts to you in a punchy, bulletin style format, and give you the links to further investigate the subject if you so wish.

We talked on the phone about 6 weeks ago and had an interesting conversation. What do you mean they took away “OUR MUSIC”? do you mean the Kingdom melodies? Or am I missing something ince I faded 20 years ao. I have still kept up with 90% of what is happening in the WT and mwife is still a pioneer.
Years ago , I played in the Orchestra at the Assembly , and of course there was getting together for practice sessions before that . 1978
William Draper. Are you upset that they stopped doing live music? Does that really bother you? I remember when they had live Music also and a sister even played the Piano in the KH for the songs but to me that isn’t what the WT is about.
If that was the worst thing the WT did I don’t think this or other web sites revealing the nature and Cult activities and harm they do would exist.

looking forward to reading the bulletin… I can see the “WTS” falling like Babylon did. The laws of nature are so simple that every human can understand them. But it seems “other sheep” will never understand them.
It’s Darwinian natural selection, except towards religions instead of species. Those who can’t or don’t adapt to the changing times (of science and secularism) will eventually go the way of extinction.

Here’s a news bulletin for you, just in case anybody missed it, the ongoing Australian Royal Commission (the same that investigated Watchtower) today grilled Cardinal George Pell, the catholic church’s third highest ranking official. He is also Australian. I’m not a fan of George anymore than I am of Geoffrey Jackson, but I couldn’t help contrast their responses to the same commission.
George stated that he was not “here to defend the indefensible” and acknowledged that the church’s reputation had come first instead of protecting the victims. He stated that the whole child abuse saga had been “a catastrophe for the victims and a catastrophe for the church. If effective action had been taken earlier, an enormous amount of suffering would’ve been avoided.” They are still reprehensible, but I wish watchtower could at least acknowledge the same. It seems the Catholic Church are way ahead of them on this one.
I also wonder if the JWs watching this on the news (and it’s getting saturation coverage here in Australia) believe that the investigation into the Catholic Church is nothing more than “apostate driven lies”?

Of course, as to the RCC, it’s the Truth, the absolute Truth and nothing but the Truth. The same as it refers to the Lutherans, the Mormons, the Pentecostals, the Presbyterians, the Methodists, the Muslims, the Buddhists, the Hindus, the Jews, the Atheists, … you name it. If THEY do have child abuse cases – SHAME ON THEM, DIRTY PIGS – you DID IT. Eric. I have not seen one thing on the NEWS about the ARC in the USA. I see it on here and also on the internet but not on the regular news. Somehow in the USA it is washed over and not publicized.

Hardly anything on news in UK either… the bishop from Australia who apologised without question to the victims… he was all over the news…nothing about the appearance of jws on there..I wish it had been.

I was a JW for may years, the Internet opened my eyes. The Watchtower destroyed much of my life. I don’t hate them, I just want the Watchtower to cease to exist.

Then I left, but by then my sister, my ex wife, and now my 3 kids are in it. I will not rest till I have at least my kids out of that deadly organization.

Till date i cant tell y the old kingdom melody was abandoned and no explanation was giving about that. Unlike the nwt new edition, explanations were given both on study aticles and watchtower editions. And whatsup with the jw brocast it seems its not active for now?

@ScottWm. Doesn’t that “new” Understanding from the WT contradict what they just changed a few months ago when they came out and said that types and anti types no longer exist? There was an entire WT study on it I believe saying that those types an anti types and double fulfillments are no longer accurate. It seems they left a few of them in place to use whenever they want to.

Holy Connoli: Regarding Watchtower T&A (types and antitypes). If the Watchtower Governing Body doesn’t keep some of its T&A teachings, the entire 1914 doctrine will collapse.
All of the current Watchtower teachings are designed to create obedience to the Governing Body. In order to achieve total cult control, the Watchtower religion must be further dumbed down. The last thing the Governing Body wants is for its worshipers to do independent research on Watchtower doctrine. Therefore, the more bizarre T&A teachings that were hallucinated by Freddy Franz are being dumped.
The Watchtower’s new simplicity campaign has become painfully obvious: The Watchtower Simplified Edition and those dreadful Caleb and Sophia cartoons are perfect examples of this. And don’t forget those insincere talks given by Governing Body members who always say, “We love you all very much!” after claiming that generations overlap, the Watchtower is going broke or that Jehovah’s spirit is directing them.

Very well made and reasonable points. I came of age during the Freddy Franz years. Back then we were supposed to do extra research on the scriptures and older watchtower publications. This was supposed to be the way to find “golden gems of truth”. That is no longer the case with the Watchtower. They want less research and more blind acceptance. Are they even providing the JW library CD for your computer anymore? It seems that they want all research to be done through JW.org where they can sanitize and whitewash it.
Unfortunately for them, as a publishing company, they have left a trail of old teachings and failed predictions that have been well documented and won’t just go away.
