PLEASE NOTE: Though we will do our very best to respond, unfortunately we are unable to guarantee a reply to each and every email we receive. We are a relatively small team comprised almost entirely of volunteers and answering too many emails would limit our ability to create the content that makes our website such a popular and valued resource. However, if you do choose to email us, we will try to reply depending on the urgency. At the very least we guarantee you any correspondence will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

Spam rejections / comments pending moderation

If your comment is held for moderation and you genuinely believe you have said nothing that is in breach of our posting guidelines, please understand we still appreciate your comment and there is no malice intended on our part. Likely our spam filter (which shields us from an unending torrent of undesirable comments) has detected something fairly innocuous about your comment that it associates with spam. Please be assured we will clear your comment from the “pending” list as quickly as we can, and in the meantime we appreciate your patience, understanding and cooperation.

In the meantime, here are some basic pointers on making sure comments don’t get flagged:

  • Make sure you are posting from a private IP address, since public internet IPs (such as in internet cafés) tend to get blocked by default
  • Check to make sure your comment has no more than two URL links
  • Try to avoid using too many non-letter characters (e.g. &$%*^), and limit your use of capital letters to the normal rules of grammar

If you are still unable to post, please contact our webmaster at the email address above and we will try to fix the problem for you.
